Gian Rodriguez serves as Managing Principal for Cushman & Wakefield’s South Florida offices. In this role, Gian leads the strategic growth and business development efforts for the firm’s 200+ person operation in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. He also oversees all aspects of the firm’s business in these markets, including agency leasing, tenant representation, capital markets, debt and equity, asset services, valuation and advisory, and project and development services.

In addition to his Managing Principal position, Gian is a market-leading industrial broker, specializing in landlord and tenant representation and investment sales. He and his team, consisting of partner Wayne Ramoski as well as Skylar Stein and Ivanna Leitner Perez, consistently rank as a top-producing team within Cushman & Wakefield’s South Florida market.

Since joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2011, some of Gian’s many clients have included Bridge Industrial, Principal Financial Group, L&B Realty Advisors, Bristol Group, Duke Realty, CenterPoint Properties, Terranova, Terra Group, Lincoln Property Company, Terreno Realty Corporation, Dade Paper Company, Smith Terminal Distribution, First Industrial Realty Trust, David Janney Partnership, Foundry Commercial, Clarion Partners, and TA Realty, to name a few. He has also represented a variety of notable industrial users in finding and leasing high-quality space, including AnsaldoBreda Inc. (now Hitachi Rail), Red Bull Distribution Company, Quality Custom Distribution, Towne Air Freight, Agro Engineering, the University of Miami, CGI Windows and Doors (now PGT) and Miami International Freight Solutions.

Gian has more than a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry, as well as a background in marketing and communications. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, he worked with Adler Realty Services. Prior to that, he held several roles in the communications field, including Media Relations Manager for the Golf Association of Philadelphia and Director of Marketing and Public Relations for an independent luxury real estate firm in the Greater Philadelphia area. A Miami native, he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
