Cushman & Wakefield was chosen by PwC, one of the largest multinational consulting and auditing firms in the world, to manage the renovation project of its headquarters in Portugal, located in Lisbon, which included its expansion to the Palácio Sotto Mayor on Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo. The renovation project, which began in 2018, was completed this June, within the expected timeframe.
The consultancy included management, design, safety coordination, and supervision of the project.
The company, which previously occupied 6 floors of the Sousa Martins building, now occupies the entire building, with a total area of 8,900 sq.m consisting of 8 floors, as well as most of the area of the Palácio Sotto Mayor, which houses only one other tenant - the Colombian embassy. In the latter, PwC’s reception, client meeting rooms, Experience Center space, and social areas such as a pantry and leisure space are located.
With its new location on Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, PwC offers a modern and innovative environment, with more sophisticated solutions adapted to the current market needs.

It is noteworthy that the project progressed without the need to interfere with the presence of employees in the office, with the necessary conditions being created for the relocation of people within the space whenever there was such a need,” comments Pedro Carta, PDS Business Development Coordinator.
