Gordon Liu joined Cushman & Wakefield (DTZ legacy) in 2006 as a management trainee and has accumulated 16 years of commercial real estate investment and management experience. Deals that Gordon has successfully completed include asset disposals, acquisitions, and joint ventures between domestic and overseas institutional investors.
In 2014, Gordon completed the Beijing Pacific Century Place deal, which was named Deal of the Year by PERE. In 2015, Gordon and the Beijing investment services team completed CTS’s RMB4 billion acquisition of the Kew Green hotels in the United Kingdom. In 2016, major deals Gordon completed included Beijing China Merchants Tower, Beijing BEA Tower and Beijing Sun Palace Retail Mall. In 2018, Gordon assisted BOCGI in acquiring Tongzhou R&F Center. Representative deals Gordon concluded in the past three years include the Mosaic Retail Portfolio with a transaction volume of approximately RMB9 billion, SK Tower, North Tower of Beijing Hopson International Building, Tower D of Indo Mansion, and Diamond Plaza.
In addition, Gordon has served institutional investors based in Beijing for their acquisitions across Greater China. Under his leadership, the Beijing Capital Markets team has completed over 50 real estate acquisition projects.
