Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, has announced the appointment of Rob Hall as Asia Pacific’s Head of Integrated Portfolio Management (IPM) within the firm’s Global Occupier Services (GOS) business, effective 1 September 2024.
Hall will succeed Nick Seaton, who has transitioned into the role of Global Lead, Asset Management for the firm’s Standard Chartered account.
Based in Hong Kong, Hall will be responsible for the firm’s IPM division in Asia Pacific, overseeing transaction management, portfolio administration, and portfolio strategy services on behalf of enterprise-level clients. He will lead a team of more than 160 professionals across five hubs in Asia Pacific, namely Bangalore, Hong Kong, Manila, Shanghai, and Singapore.
Having spent the last 34 years with Cushman & Wakefield based in Europe, Hall most recently served as an Executive Account Director of GOS for EMEA. He previously led the European Logistics & Industrial Brokerage Platform and has specialised in occupational advisory within the sector for the past decade. He is committed to providing strategic guidance to corporations, helping them navigate market dynamics and leverage emerging opportunities.
"Having amassed extensive experience in advising Cushman & Wakefield’s corporate occupier clients across the world, I understand the importance of connecting the dots between risk management, cost optimisation and real estate portfolios for companies. My work with international clients has equipped me with insights that will be invaluable as I take on this exciting new role in Asia Pacific," said Hall.
“I am also excited to have Hong Kong as my base in Asia Pacific. I first visited the city 40 years ago, and it is one of our key hubs in the region, serving as a strategic gateway to the Chinese Mainland. It is also a market that remains high on the radar of both investors and occupiers for its dynamic business environment and global connectivity,” added Hall.
Hall will report to Cameron Ahrens, Head of Global Occupier Services, Asia Pacific, and join the GOS Asia Pacific leadership team.
"Rob has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership and his significant contributions to major logistics and industrial international companies through global assignments underscore his impact. Under his leadership, we will further harness our teams and global platform to deliver profound insights, best practices, and innovative solutions, ensuring a superior client experience across the region," said Ahrens.
