Hingston has been Chief Operating Officer of Asset Services EMEA since 2019, playing an instrumental role in its growth story during that time. An International Partner, he joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services EMEA business seven and a half years ago from Capita, the business process outsourcing company, where he held a number of leadership and operational roles.
He takes over leadership of the team from Tina Reuter who has been appointed as Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Germany.
Colin Wilson, Chief Executive EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Mark’s experience, strategic thinking and vision – as well as his deep understanding of our business and clients – mean he is ideally suited to take over the leadership of the team. As an existing senior leader within the team, his appointment also ensures a seamless transition for both colleagues and clients. I look forward to working closely with him in his new role.”
Asset Services is a core pillar of Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA platform, managing 31 million square metres of property across EMEA on behalf of leading investors and owners of real estate. Services range from traditional property management to operational asset management and our other added value services.
Mark Hingston, Managing Director, Asset Services EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “I’m proud to take on the leadership of a really talented team. As the needs of real estate owners and investors have evolved in recent years, our clients have responded enthusiastically to the level of sophistication we have brought to our services, and the experience we can deliver for their tenants and other users of their assets. We have begun the year strongly, with client appetite for the full breadth of our services, continuing our momentum from 2023.”
Cushman & Wakefield recently published its Asset Optimisation For Tomorrow reports providing asset managers with consolidated, actionable strategies that bolster the value and resilience of investments across the office, retail, and logistics and industrial sectors.
