Mike and his wife have lived in Danville for 22 years and have two adult daughters. He has been a contributing writer for ALIVE magazine since 2006 and has published three humor lifestyle books. Mike was a longtime volunteer coach with Monte Vista High School, San Ramon Valley Thunderbirds Football, San Ramon Valley Girls Athletic League and Mustang Soccer. He is a past President of the Crow Canyon Sealions Swim Team and on the Board of Governors at Crow Canyon Country Club. As a fundraiser, he has helped raised over $3.2 million dollars for local charities including Children's Hospital of Oakland, Links for Life Foundation and Discovery Counseling Center. He currently serves as Chairman on the Board of Directors at Discovery Counseling Center, a non-profit mental health agency. Mike is a recent graduate of Leadership San Ramon Valley and the San Ramon Citizens Police Academy. He is also a lifelong member of Sigma Chi National Fraternity.
