Mike Nevins serves as the Asset Services Lead for Cushman & Wakefield’s Property Management business in the New Jersey, Westchester County and Connecticut markets.
In this role, he is responsible for operations, new business development and financial oversight of the Cushman & Wakefield’s Property Management business, currently managing over 36 million square feet of commercial properties for both institutional and non-institutional clients.
He also focuses on recruiting top industry professionals, team engagement, cultivating best practices, and executing consistent processes and procedures. Mike brings his extensive asset management, business development, leasing, and property stabilization experience with unique expertise in comprehensive management solutions of distressed assets on behalf of owners, lenders, and special services developed over his 35+ year career.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mike served as Senior Vice President, Asset Management & Leasing for Onyx Equities where he was responsible for the management and stabilization of Onyx’s portfolio of suburban value add office, medical office, retail and industrial assets in addition to a 15 million square foot portfolio of receivership and REO assignments consisting of office, industrial and retail assets in multiple submarkets along the east coast.
Prior to Onyx, Mike was at Mack-Cali Realty Corporation where he served in various property management and leasing roles. From 2000 – 2005 he was Vice President of Leasing, managing a team of 5 in-house leasing representatives, 4 outside leasing agents and various administrative staff. In this role, he was responsible for critical deal decision making, negotiation of significant lease transactions, maintenance of key tenant relationships, establishing broker payment policies, road show presentations and involvement in corporate direction.
