Tim Whittemore joined Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, Inc. in 1993. Mr. Whittemore has focused his business on the representation of tenants and landlords in the Metropolitan Phoenix submarkets with an emphasis on representing Landlords/Sellers. Since joining C&W, Mr. Whittemore has been involved in over 600 lease transactions in Phoenix, ranging from 1,000 SF to 232,000 SF. Mr. Whittemore has been involved in 20 investment building sales totaling over 2.75 million SF and approximately $636 million in transaction volume including completing the largest lease transaction in Deer Valley and Phoenix in 2011 on behalf of his landlord client USAA to Cigna for 232,000 SF for 12 years. Mr. Whittemore is committed to client service with an emphasis on creating long term client relationships. Understanding the objective of the client, being committed to the transaction process and achieving the client’s objectives are the most important goals.
During his tenure with Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Whittemore has exclusively represented a prestigious tenant clientele including AT&T, RJR, Metlife, AT&T Wireless, GMAC, Norwest Bank, First Tennessee Bank, Applied Materials, RBF Consulting Engineers, Guaranty National Insurance Corp., DuCharme McMillan and Kimley Horn Engineers. Landlord/Seller clients include Opus West, ING Clarion, Principal Capital Management, RREEF, Crown West Realty, USAA Real Estate, Hines, Morgan Stanley, CarrAmerica, Lend Lease, Shorenstein Company, Desert Troon Companies, The Travelers Companies, Orsett Properties, Peidmont Office Realty Trust, Thompson National Properties, Zell Holdings and ASB Capital Management.
Mr. Whittemore graduated from Arizona State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Awards & Associations
In 1998, Mr. Whittemore received the Phoenix office award for completing the highest amount of transactions. In recognition of his outstanding performance, he attended C&W’s National Achievement Conference in 1999, 2000 and 2001 and was a “Top Five Producer” in 2001. In 2003, Tim was runner-up for NAIOP’s “Deal Maker of the Year” Award.
