Chris Getz joined Cushman & Wakefield’s leasing department as a Senior Director focused on Landlord Representation in Washington, DC, coming from Washington REIT where he most recently served as Director of Office Asset Management for their Washington, DC and Suburban Maryland office portfolio. Chris’ strategic thinking and creative approaches to problem solving coupled with his experience in market analysis, property financial modeling, lease analysis, and credit review have been instrumental in helping to maximize asset net operating income, cash flow, and long term value. 

Most of Chris’ career at Washington REIT was spent in leasing where he served as a Director prior to his asset management role. He represented Washington REIT in negotiating and supervising all aspects of the lease transaction. Chris is credited with completing 500+ leasing transactions and over a billion dollars in lease transaction value.
